About the author

T.M. Frazier lives in sunny Southwest Florida with her husband and daughter. She dreamed of being a writer since the day she learned how to read. After spending many years working in real estate she decided could no longer ignore that dream.
She published her first book, The Dark Light of Day, in 2013 and has since become a USA Today bestselling author several times over. Her books have been translated into numerous languages and published all around the world.
T.M. enjoys writing what she calls ‘wrong side of the tracks romance’ with morally corrupt anti-heroes and ballsy heroines.
Her books have been described as raw, dark and gritty. Basically, what that means, is while some authors are great at describing a flower as it blooms, T.M. is better at describing it in the final stages of decay.
She loves meeting her readers, but if you see her at an event please don’t pinch her because she's not ready to wake up from this amazing dream.

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 May 2017Oh. My. Freaking. God.
Just had to begin with that! I'm slightly ashamed to say that this is my first ever read by T M Frazier even though it has been sat on my kindle for months - but now I really wish I had read it sooner! I really struggled with writing this review and keeping it concise as the story really tugged at my emotions - a long time since that's happened! (Though it's still a long ass review - sorry!)
I like that we get to meet King at the beginning in the prologue, and how he founded his life long friendship with Preppy - it really helped to give some background and understanding to the rest of the story.
Back in the present day we meet Doe - a girl living on the streets after she had an accident and awoke with no memory, and the police had no record of her. She befriends Nikki - a drug user and hooker of sorts - and they stumble upon King's welcome home from prison party, looking for a biker to "take care" of them. Doe walks in on King in a compromising position, and from then on I could feel the tension and knew I was in for a rocky ride.
Throughout the story King and Doe had a love/hate relationship. But one thing they had in common - they were both scared. Doe, because she had no idea who she was, where she came from. King, because this girl who just appeared in his life, had brought out something he'd never had before. I just knew, under his bad ass exterior, that there was love and care lurking in there. King is the kind of character you expect to hate, and for the things he has done, and does, you should; but no, I loved him from the very beginning!
I was dying to find out more about Doe, and once I knew that King knew all about her, I wanted to race through the book. But I didn't, as I wanted to enjoy it, get lost in it, too. I felt so much for her, just couldn't imagine what it's like to have no memory of your past life. And to be scared of this "family" you have become a part of, yet love them at the same time.
That takes me on to Preppy. Oh Preppy. I adore him! He is tough, but sweet, and the comedy moments that came from his mouth, had me in stitches! But he broke my heart. I'm dying to get onto his story. And Bear, more of a minor character, but still adds a great depth to the story.
Frazier's writing just had me drawn in so much, the character development was strong. The story was dark, unpredictable, but a rollercoaster of emotions. There was laughter, tears, and gasp out loud moments especially toward the end, leading to one hell of a cliffhanger!
King is written in dual POV and I would have liked more from King, but as I loved the story so much I'll forgo that with my rating. A super amazing 5* for this. One that will certainly stay with me.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 13 June 2017My first read by T M Frazier - I have the box set and have been meaning to read this for months and I'm so glad I finally put some time aside to do just that. The writing is great and the story I read was addictive and fascinating to read and I can't wait to start Tyrant.
Doe is a young woman who is homeless and living on the streets. she is basically at her lowest point in her life when along comes King, whom she meets at a biker party; she goes there on the advice of her friend who is a hooker and is looking for protection from the biker gang and Doe tags along even though she feels totally out of place there. The moment she literally stumbles across King she feels a connection of some sort - his eyes holding hers across the room makes her head spin and her tummy flutter. Little does she know how big a part King will play in her life to come. Good, bad - who knows what the future holds for Doe but this book takes us on a most unusual journey that is literally spellbinding, scary, jaw dropping, brutal, sexy, yet wonderful all rolled into one. Doe has many secrets that will be revealed hopefully, my head was spinning just trying to work it all out.
King is such a large character personality as well as bodily wise. At first I wasn't so sure about him but oh my he certainly grows on you and I fell hook line and sinker for this troubled beautiful man. We also get introduced to Bear and Preppy and these three friends have been running together forever and not a lot gets between them. Their friendship and camaraderie is legendary and at times so funny - just what you need to lighten this story because at times this story can be extremely brutal !!!
I can't wait to start Tyrant because there are so any questions that need answering, so many emotions that need feeding and I can't wait to be a part of these characters lives once again. A fantastic book not to be missed !!!
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 September 2022No plot spoilers
There is a massive potential trigger relating to assault and rape. That should have been clearly advised.
There is a huge amount of swearing, literally every other word in places.
That said, it's necessary because of the genre.
The characterisation is outstanding, but I can't help but think that King is naive at times, especially with the situations that arise.
I also think that the rape was brushed aside very lightly and that the victims response was unbelievable.
The plotline meanders a bit, with King seemingly set on making unwise decisions to the detriment of just about everyone.
There are some errors such as missing words etc. but nothing to get irritated about.
The book starts with a bang and continues to smack the reader throughout.
It's fast paced and twisted, raw and in your face, I have no problem recommending it to fans of the genre.

4.0 out of 5 stars 4 great-book-poor-editing stars
This book really was a 4.5 to 5 stars read for me.
Ok it's another version of the bad*ss vs. the innocent girl story. But it is a real good version of it.
Ms. Frazier has a way to nail her MCs feelings in short sentences rather than long inner monologues, which felt great.
"Freedom meant you had choices. I still had none".
I love the way Doe talks before she thinks it through (maybe because I suffer from the same illness !), while on the other hand King thinks too much and doesn't talk enough. I loved Preppy too, how such a wrecked up kid would see things so clearly in others. How he was the catalyst for both Doe and King to look beyond what they were pretending they were.
It was great to see these two interact in such a raw and often angry way and yet bring each other to change so dramatically.
From "The only difference between me and a real Jane Doe was a toe-tag because what I was doing sure as s**** wasn't living."to "Stop being alive and start living".
But ... how can an author let such a nice book be ruined by so many editing lapses : their for there, wonder for wander, hid for his (!), out instead of our ... not to mention the number of missing words. You end up having to read the sentences again which obviously goes against enjoying the read. Just in Preppy's letter three editing mistakes ... way to totally wreck an intense moment !
So as my stars review the whole package, it ends up around 3.5 rounded to 4.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW...King...OMG...and then Tyrant...AWESOME
So these books just blew me away in every sense possible.
The emotional level, the physical...everything about these books is absolutly
intens and even with the way of all this swearing, tonns of awful language....
but in my oppinion it just needed to be this way...so you could feel everything..
and boy !!! you will feel everything right to your bones. Bad and good...Perfect !
I would give it even more then 5 stars and after the first book "King" I had to read the second one
"Tyrant" as well. Awesome, both of them. Tyrant picks up right where King ended.
Both books are raw and so intense, emotionally...at points it rips out your heart, but in the same way
your heart will swell to the point of bursting. Feeling overload and when the really bad s*** is happening...
well let me put it this way...it just blew my f***** mind away.
Doe and King ... two totally different persons ...but in the end not so different at all...
AND PREPPY :) he is such a sick guy and the most loyal friend and a wonderful character
in this story. He was just right for this story.
So in total, I really loved these two books, they are different, rip through your heart and
pice it back together.
If you don't mind, very strong abuse, total dirty language and absolutly intense, raw and hot as hell
sex scence...and you are able to look behind all this....then my dear you will enjoy two awesome books !

5.0 out of 5 stars “He was the most terrifyingly beautiful thing I’d ever laid eyes on.”
What a beguiling way to end a drought!!! I was completely delighted to once again lose myself in a well written romance novel that took me to the gulf coast of Florida. T. M. Frazier is a new author to me and it is one of life’s great pleasures to find a romance author that checks all the boxes and writes so well. I have had to eschew reading and reviewing the entire month of October 2018…certainly not willingly. King is a magnetic, brooding, bad boy hero with all the enticing desirable and even not so desirable Alpha traits that make a girl go Mmm…a great hero with which to break my fast.
The story itself begins with King having just been released from prison trying to adjust to his freedom and his new reality. We also meet our heroine, Doe, as she is a homeless waif living on the street who has lost all memory of who she is and where she belongs. The two collide at the rough and tumble, anything goes party for King’s return to freedom with a local MC club in attendance. Doe and her companion, Nicki, a street hooker and drug addict who has taken Doe under her protection, which is really not much protection, having decided to crash the party.
Driven by the need for food and shelter, Doe is desperate enough to offer her body to any one of the male attendees of this party. As she wanders through the party house, she encounters King in a liaison that is best left behind a closed door. King is entranced straight off with Doe’s eyes and finds his satisfaction only because of looking in them.
As the story progresses Brantley King has a love/hate feeling toward Doe. He pulls her close and pushes her away. He needs her near him and yet he will not touch her. He is deeply troubled man with a tragic past and a desire for a different life away from the criminality which consumes his present circumstances.
The reader struggles along with Doe. As indiscernible as King is to the reader, Doe is an easy character to with whom to relate. We understand her, her confusion and the decisions she makes. Her pain becomes our pain and her joys become our joys.
There is a pressure cooker level of sexual tension which builds from the beginning of the read. It is crazy AF hot!!! Oh, and just before the lid blows off, the author adds a little kicker that drives the reader crazy…it just adds a little extra “pow” to the eventuality. When you read it, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
As the story moves forward, King as a character begins to take on new dimensions. His inner world opens up to us more and more. His decisions are surprising in the face of his burgeoning feelings. Of course, this only serves to add more sexiness to the already swoon worthy picture of the man. The supporting characters add depth and color to the entire presentation as well.
I did notice that while at times the read is violent and gritty befitting the murky world of drug dealers, it is juxtaposed against some quirky, sweet and sentimental writing. That illegal marijuana is employed for a loved one’s end stage cancer pain or the idea of “granny growers” seems almost an indictment against keeping marijuana illegal? Just my observation.
I’m certain you can tell by my review that it is thumbs up all the way from me for King Your heart will flutter. You may swoon. Hopefully, you will find the story as compelling and irresistible as I did and read on to the next book, Tyrant.
Quotes:
“Her taste, her tongue, the pull I’d felt toward her when she was first in my bed had exploded into something I couldn’t reign in. I lost myself in her for a good minute before I came to my senses. Stopping was the hardest thing I’d ever done even though the idea of taking my revenge out on her body made every part of me turn rock hard.” - King
“I [loved] her until we were one person, and in a way we were, because I’d lost myself along the way, and I found myself again in the most unlikely place. I’d found myself again in the haunted eyes of a girl who was just as lost as I was. Or maybe, we didn’t find each other at all. Maybe, we just decided to be lost together.” - King
“I gently scooped her up in my arms, and she weighed practically nothing. Even though she was visibly hurting and I was hurting for her, I remember that first feeling of holding her. Before she was even born, she became the most important thing in the world to me, but holding her sealed the deal. There was nothing I wouldn’t do for her. Nothing. I would hurt anyone and everyone who ever made my baby cry like that again. I would burn down cities for her. I fell to the ground with my back against the wall and rocked her until she calmed. I told her about all the things I was going to buy for her. I told her that daddy was here, that she was safe.” – King

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm really struggling to find words now!
I finished King about 20 minutes ago, but I spent good 5 minutes flabbergasted. It doesnt sound so much time, but think of 5 minutes of uninterrupted and continous "Oh My Gods" and you have a good picture (think about that as you want lol).
This book was insane. And it was so above my expectations (and believe me, I had really high expectations for this one). This is a dark romance. A dark romance indeed. It wasnt the cliche bad boy whom the world doesnt get. It wasnt the cliche good girl that needs to be saved at every corner (even though she did need to be saved).
It was so much more than that. It was raw, crude, bare, graphic, explicit. It was sensitive, real, right to the point on some wounds that are exposed and still people dont see.
"But being back on the streets was a captivity of another sort. Freedom meant you have choices. And I still had none"
"Freedom meant you have choices"... That sentence had so much power, so much truth on each letter, not just for the book, but for life in general, socially, for so many ills of society (some of them were shown on this book). And that, among other scenes, showed how strong Doe really was.
Even not remembering anything, she was so sensible, so experienced for the few weeks on the streets. She was a survivor in so many senses of the word. She was a true heroine. Hats off to her.
King was a force of nature. He was moody, he was bad, he was ruthless, restless, implacable. He had his own rules and he was strict to them and to their consequences, no matter how hard they were. He wasnt a bad boy, he was an evil grown man. But he was also loyal (Preppy, Grace, Max and Bear are proof of that), and so intense was his rage, just so intense was his love, even if he didnt know how to manage it.
This book left so many opened wounds and just cant stop scratching them!
King and Doe were amazing to read. There wasn't a dull moment between them (especially if Preppy was around). They got me from the first page and I still didnt digest what I just read!
This book was beyond amazing, and I need to start Tyrant right NOW!
